Basic Programming Course

From class 3 to class 8 Kids can join this program (An age above 9 years is preferable). All they need to have a Laptop/PC & good internet connection.

***Also, to mention this is a very basic level programming course for those Kids who have Zero knowledge of Programming.

Stemon Online BASIC Programming Course Outline 

(Tentative)

For Class 3 to 5:

Course Duration: 1 Year (12 months in total) | Total Level: 4 (3 months on each level)

At the end of each level, they have to create their own project and give a presentation. Based on that they will be provided with a Certificate issued from STEMON JAPAN along with a Feedback sheet from teachers & also will be promoted to the next level. 

1st Level Topics:

Duration: 3 months (Total Lecture: 24) 

What they will learn: (Tentative)

• Scratch Tools.
• Uses of different blocks.
• Creating own sprites using paint.
• Write simple code scripts to make simple animations and games.
• Coordinate, grid, x/y axis
• Concept of variables.

2nd Level Topics:

Duration: 3 months (Total Lecture: 24)

What they will learn: (Tentative)

• Creating blocks using my block
• Small Games making
• Get familiar with mathematical operators and use this in Scratch
• Mathematical Problem-Solving Using Scratch
• Traffic Signal Animation
• HTML Basics

3rd Level Topics: 

Duration: 3 months (Total Lecture: 24)

What they will learn: (Tentative)

• Ball and paddle game (DX-Ball)
• Concept of functions and operators.
• Creating your own web page Using HTML
• Creating original games using multiple scripts.
• Broadcasting Message
• Use extension blocks to build complicated projects.

4th Level Topics:

Duration: 3 months (Total Lecture: 24)

What they will learn: (Tentative)

• Introduction with Moon blocks.
• Making games using Moon block.
• Basic JavaScript Programming
• Create games using the concept of RPG (Role-playing-game)

***Contents are subject to change based on necessity by the teachers or management from JAPAN.

For Class 6 to 8:

Course Duration: 9 months in total | Total Level: 3 (3 months on each level)

Class Days: 2 days per week (Friday & Saturday)

Course Instructors: Bangladeshi Teachers will take the classes who are trained from STEMON JAPAN.
